Did you Know that another black man was murdered?
Did you know that the police killed another black man? Did you know that he had a stick in his hand and thats why he received two bullets in his chest? There are many whites that are totally infuriated that blacks make claims of injustice. Whites think how can blacks have the nerve to say they(whites) are bias against black people... They are proud to tell everyone that blacks should not play the race card? Did you know when these crimes happen to an innocent black man, it was an accident... Why not once be infuriated that this crime of murder happened an understand that it happens too often? Did you know that if you were to count the number of black accidents that happen with police killing blacks, it is not really an oddity? Did you know that if you had a shooting accident one every ten years that would be too many! So now lets look at it from the prospective, what if you had over 10 shootings a year? The key is not that it happens but letting them get off with a slap on the wrist. Now, is that really a good example to set?

Early Democratic voters are outnumbering Republicans in key states
Democrat Kenneth Brown of Clayton County, Georgia, waited for hours Tuesday to vote for Sen. Barack Obama.
Just a week before a historic Election Day, registered Democrats in North Carolina are out-voting Republicans by a nearly 2-to-1 margin, according to official election statistics.
The state is seen as a crucial battleground for Sens. John McCain and Barack Obama.
The turnout by Democrats also appears to be higher in at least two other battleground states, Colorado and Nevada, whose electoral votes could make the difference for either White House hopeful.
As of Tuesday, at least 9,813,052 ballots had been cast in 31 states that allow early, in-person or absentee voting without having to provide an excuse. The figures are based on reports from state election officials.
Of those votes, at least 1.2 million ballots have been cast by registered Democrats and at least 731,200 by registered Republicans.
As with early voting statistics in every state -- these are not election results. Voters who are registered with a political party don't always vote for that party's candidates.
Despite the added pressure of long lines it is not stopping people from waiting to vote. I thought that it was a long wait of an hour to vote... Then I hear in Cogg County in Georgia people waited 12 hours to vote. I am thinking if their is a problem with voting shouldn't we try to fix it? There is no reason that anyone should be out to 1:00am in the morning voting...

Michael Salvage Endorses McCain
On October 27, 2008 Michael Salvage endorsed John McCain for President. The rational that he used just does not make any sense to me... He does not like Obama because he is a Socialist, and he is determined to believe that picking Obama will be the demise of the economy. So is this a joke? The economy is pretty ruff now, why would he think that Obama would make it worse?. So Salvage rational for him picking McCain is? None, actually the only reason that he is picking McCain is because he does not want to see Obama win! Salvage says McCain has Socialist ways plus he is going to follow in Bush footsteps, how can you not like anything the man does then be willing to endorse him?
I would never believe that Salvage is Racist, but is picking a Black Obama really that bad? Salvage slams people that don't believe what he does. They are stupid for not being able to see what Obama is really about... Unfortunately these clowns Hannity, Limbaugh, and Salvage would rather have another Bush, than a change. They are not affected by the declining economy, as a matter of fact each one of these indivduals make multi millions a year. From what I have determined If you or anyone else is loosing their home, they are not going to shell out a dime to help you! They don't mind leading us into the arms of McCain, so while we are slaughtered like innocent sheep they will watch and say don't worry folks its going to get better soon... I listen in disbelief that any of these bafoons does not want better for our United States.
The only thing that I can say is vote, and bring a friend to vote, because if we don't who will?
History lesson on the dollar bill
Notice the face is lighted, and the western side is dark. This country was just beginning. We had not begun to explore the west or decided what we could do for Western Civilization. The Pyramid is uncapped, again signifying that we were not even close to being finished. Inside the capstone you have the all-seeing eye, an ancient symbol for divinity. It was Franklin's belief that one man couldn't do it alone, but a group of men, with the help of God, could do anything. 'IN GOD WE TRUST' is on this currency.
Latin above the pyramid, ANNUIT COEPTIS, means, 'God has favored our undertaki ng.' The Latin below the pyramid, NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM, means, 'a new order has begun.' At the base of the pyramid is the Roman Numeral for 1776. (MDCCLXXVI) If you look at the right-hand circle, and check it carefully, you will learn that it is on every National Cemetery in the United States It is also on the Parade of Flags Walkway at the Bushnell, Florida National Cemetery and is the centerpiece of most hero's monuments. Slightly modified, it is the seal of the President of theUnited States, and it is always visible whenever he speaks, yet very few people know what the symbols mean.
The Bald Eagle was selected as a symbol for victory for two reasons: First, he is not afraid of a storm; he is strong, and he is smart enough to soar above it. Secondly, he wears no material crown. We had just broken from the King of England . Also, notice the shield is unsupported. This country can now stand on it's own. At the top of that shield you have a white bar signifying congress, a unifying factor. We were coming together as one nation. In the Eagle's beak you will read, ' E PLURIBUSUNUM ' meaning,'one from many.'
Above the Eagle, you have thirteen stars, representing the thirteen original colonies, and any clouds of misunderstanding rolling away. Again, we were coming together as one.
Notice what the Eagle holds in his talons. He holds an olive branch and arrows. This country wants peace, but we will never be afraid to fight to preserve peace. The Eagle always wants to face the olive branch, but in time of war, his gaze turns toward the arrows.
They say that the number 13 is an unlucky number.
This is almost a worldwide belief. You will usually never see a room numbered 13, or any hotels or motels with a 13th floor. But think about this:
13 original colonies ,
13 signers of the Declaration of Independence ,
13 stripes on our flag,
13 steps on the Pyramid,
13 letters in, 'Annuit Coeptis,'
13 letters in ' E PluribusUnum ,'
13 stars above the Eagle,
13 bars on that shield,
13 leaves on the olive branch,
13 fruits,
and if you look closely,
13 arrows.
And finally, if you notice the arrangem ent of the 13 stars in the right-hand circle you will see that they are arranged as a Star of David. This was ordered by George Washington who, when he asked Hayim Solomon, a wealthy Philadelphia Jew, what he would like as a personal reward for his services to the Continental Army, Solomon said he wanted nothing for himself but that he would like something for his people. The Star of David was the result. Few people know that it was Solomon who saved the Army through his financial contributions but died a pauper.
I always ask people, 'Why don't you know this?' Your children don't know this, and their history teachers don't know this. Too many veterans have given up too much to ever let the meaning fade. Many veterans remember coming home to an America that didn't care. Too many veterans never came home at all.

An Attempted Attack on Obama
Now lets face reality, the unbelievable in many whites mind is becoming believable and they are getting scared! The actual ideal of a black man becoming President is less than a week away! We have witnessed the smear attacks and now when all else fails, go for the jugglar. Every attempt to dismantel a man with a plan has failed... So now its time to sit back and enjoy the ride... You see when black people have had an opportunity to be the first, they not only did it... They also made history while they were doing it...

Attack of the Conservatives…
These hypocrites seem to think that because Powell is a conservative that he has to vote conservative even if he does not believe in what the person represents! Powell stated that he did not make his decision over-night. As a matter of fact he waited 9 months to listen to both sides and observe. His decision was weighed more in the last month when one person was under the impression that the economy was sound. When Powell analyzed the economy, he could see that the Economy is in a recession. He had a problem that John McCain could not see… Plus with the barrage of attacks on Obama character calling him a terrorist and a Muslim. He just could not personally agree with those actions! Now in the same breath he watched Obama work his way through several campaigns exhibiting pose and strategy to win the democratic nomination, and several of these debates. Powell calculated his thoughts and observed the tacits Of Obama and his precise manner to lead Powell to this conclusion… That Barrack Obama is the best man for the job.
Now the same Conservatives that would have voted for Powell if he had ran for President, turn on him like rabid dogs. Now the man with so much prestige and clot has been reduced to a buffoon! Simply because he choose the other candidate. In the mist of all this finger pointing and name calling would anyone believe that their would not be any discussion if he had endorsed McCain?

The Reverse Bradley Effect
17 Newspapers Endorse Obama, 2 for McCain
Barack Obama picked up at least 17 newspaper endorsements this weekend, including six in swing states Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, and Missouri. John McCain, as far as we know, gained The Wheeling News-Register in West Virginia and the Napa Valley Register in California. Sen.
McCain's campaign has been as disappointing as his move toward party orthodoxy. More than his opponent, he has run a relentless stream of commercials that have been discredited by nonpartisan fact-checkers. He has articulated no vision for the country other than to suggest that it should believe in him as an individual, as a war hero of independent judgment.
Over the past nine months, Mr. Obama, the junior senator from Illinois, has emerged as the only truly transformative candidate in the race. In the crucible that is a presidential campaign, his intellect, his temperament and equanimity under pressure consistently have been impressive. He has surrounded himself with smart, capable advisers who have helped him refine thorough, nuanced policy positions.
Obama represents a new direction. He has shown he can inspire and lead people to action. And his relatively short time in corrupt, self-absorbed, terribly-failed Washington, D.C., may actually be a key strength. Obama is not stuck in the status quo of the Capitol crowd or its long-failed Congress. America is at a pivotal point in its history — a difficult time that demands talented leadership to renew our nation's spirit and pull us together to meet the incredible challenges ahead.
Obama doesn't just give pretty speeches. He speaks to people's best instincts, encouraging them to shine. The right leader for the time is Barack Obama.
In a word, Mr. Obama has represented himself as presidential. more

Fear of Obama
The economy is at rock bottom. Unemployment is at an all time high, so is foreclosures, plus the loss of retirement income is devastating to many consumers like me! I personally do not trust the Congress, Senate and the President! Then I hear people say that “I am scared of what will happen to the economy if Obama becomes President”. I am very frustrated that these conservatives think that Obama becoming President will eventually make the economy crumble like the Roman Empire. To see conservative talk show radio host abuse the system and twist words to make a person look good or bad, is not helping the situation. As a matter daily I hear that McCain is not what the people want… Yet they would feel more comfortable putting McCain in Office because Obama is not ready… When would he be ready, if he won the debates? If he won as president, would he be ready then?

Did you know that members of congress has been in jail?
Did you know that a remarkable number of U.S. Representatives and U.S. Senators may have spent as much time in a jail cell as on Capitol Hill.
After researching public records, newspaper articles, civil court transcripts, and criminal records, Capitol Hill Blue discovered that:
* 29 members of Congress have been accused of spousal abuse.
* 7 have been arrested for fraud.
* 19 have been accused of writing bad checks.
* 117 have bankrupted at least two businesses.
* 3 have been arrested for assault.
* 71 have credit reports so bad they can't qualify for a
credit card.
* 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges.
* 8 have been arrested for shoplifting.
* 21 are current defendants in lawsuits.
* And in 1998 alone, 84 were stopped for drunk driving, but released after they claimed Congressional immunity.
Capitol Hill Blue did not list the names of all the individual members of Congress accused of the various crimes, but did note that some were "serial offenders" with extensive tracks records of fraud or violence.
For example, reported Capitol Hill Blue, Rep. Corrine Brown (D-FL) has a "long, consistent record of deceit," including tens of thousands of dollars in unpaid bills, allegations of bribery, and numerous lawsuits against her. And Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA) faces charges that he beat his wife, has a history of barroom brawls while mayor of Alexandria, and has publicly stated that he likes "to hit people."
"With a rap sheet like that, you have to wonder why Americans expect Congress to solve the problem of crime -- since Congress seems to be causing so much crime," said Dasbach. "In fact, if this study is correct, the best way to cut crime may be to lock up Congress and throw away the key."
And given the obvious economic incompetence of so many Senators and Representatives, you have to wonder why voters trust them with the federal budget, he said.
"Here are politicians who routinely bankrupt businesses, write bad checks, engage in fraudulent practices, and have bad credit," said Dasbach. "That could explain why the country is more than $5 trillion in debt, why federal programs are so wasteful, and
why taxes are always going up. Are these really the kind of economically illiterate people we want to trust with our money?" If nothing else, said Dasbach, the Capitol Hill Blue investigation may help puncture the myth that Senators and Representatives are somehow superior to ordinary Americans, or better equipped to solve the nation's problems. "By its very nature, politics tends to attract venal people who crave power, who want to control the lives of other people, and who think they are above the law," he noted. "This study makes that
point clear -- and illustrates that when it comes to politicians, the only thing worse than their voting records are their criminal
records."

Racism is not dead!
The man then launched into a tirade of racist slurs, shouting 'I f***ing hate n*****s' and urging 36-year-old Mr Egwuatu to leave the shop with him.
Respect: Dube Egwuatu wearing the Obama T-shirt that provoked a racist attack
The man then left the shop but when Mr Egwuatu re-emerged, the attacker was waiting for him in broad daylight with a threatening-looking dog and holding a gun behind his back.
Realising what had sparked the increasingly violent assault, the terrified Mr Egwuatu zipped up his jacket to cover the image of Mr Obama and walked to his car.
But the shaven-headed man, who was white, followed Mr Egwuatu and after pulling open the passenger door pointed the gun at him.
After pleading with the man to leave him alone, the married former street warden put the keys in the ignition and turned the engine on.
The attacker then fired the gas-powered ball-bearing pistol three times, hitting the civil servant in the face, hand and shoulder.
Fearing for his life and bleeding heavily, Mr Egwuatu raced away in his car and found somewhere safe to call for help.
He was taken to hospital and later sent to have a piece of metal removed from his jaw.
Mr Egwuatu, a data analyst with Croydon Council, said: 'The venom in his voice was frightening.
'He was telling me that he was going to kill me. Need I say more?...

Blinded by the hate!
It seems that many conservative talk show host are surrogates of conservative hate. With numerous attacks on Obama charactor, and his ability to think, why is he even there?
Over and over again they strive to create a persona that he a bad person because of who he knew in his past. They have called him the Messiah, yet they cannot wait to tell you they would not vote for him. As a matter of fact they show a frenzy of hate, simply because he is a empty suit! In their words...Forget the fact that he worked his plan, and it worked to beat Hillary, and its working to beat McCain.
Now its down to a smear campaign of hate, which has been orchestrated by several conservative radio talk show host... Do you remember a couple months ago that Jim Adkisson, a 58-year-old truck driver opened fire at a Unitarian church, killing two people, left behind a note suggesting that he targeted the congregation out of hatred for its liberal policies. This insane, cowardly, conservative, started firing into a church killing and wounding several people...
What was on the murder's reading list?
- Liberalism is a Mental Health Disorder by Michael Savage,
- Let Freedom Ring by Sean Hannity,
and The O'Reilly Factor, by Bill O'Reilly."
These conservatives are guilty of something worse than hate-speech. It's "hate brainwashing", night after night they have the effect of brainwashing the members of their media cult into hating one man, Obama. Why do they think that the majority of Americans are stupid enough to "think like them"?... Cosidering when I look at the polls, Obama is leading...
So hate speech does not mean they are racist, it just means they don't like, " that man". Sound familiar? Dog The Bounty Hunter, wasn't racist either, he just didn't want his son dating "that girl"!
Desperate time does mean desperate measures. So it does not mean they don't like black people, no, they just don't like "that one"!

McCain smear campaign is not working!
Fifty-three percent of likely voters questioned in the poll say they are backing Obama for president, with 45 percent supporting McCain.
That 8-point lead is double the 4-point lead Obama held in the last CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll, taken in mid-September. Watch why the economy is hurting McCain
Monday evening's CNN national Poll of Polls -- incorporating our new CNN survey, as well as new tracking numbers from Gallup and Hotline taken October 3-5 -- shows Obama leading McCain by 6 points -- at 49 to 43 percent.
Only 24 percent of those polled approve of Bush's job as president, an all-time low for a CNN survey. See the latest polling
"Bush has now tied Richard Nixon's worst rating ever, taken in a poll just before he resigned in 1974, and is only 2 points higher than the worst presidential approval rating in history, Harry Truman's 22 percent mark in February 1952," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland.
And that's bad news for McCain, because the poll suggests a growing number of Americans believe the Republican presidential nominee would have the same policies as the current Republican president. Fifty-six percent say McCain's policies would be the same as Bush, up from 50 percent a month ago.

The President's Proposed Energy Policy
It is a problem we will not solve in the next few years, and it is likely to get progressively worse through the rest of this century.
We must not be selfish or timid if we hope to have a decent world for our children and grandchildren.
We simply must balance our demand for energy with our rapidly shrinking resources. By acting now, we can control our future instead of letting the future control us.
Two days from now, I will present my energy proposals to the Congress. Its members will be my partners and they have already given me a great deal of valuable advice. Many of these proposals will be unpopular. Some will cause you to put up with inconveniences and to make sacrifices.
The most important thing about these proposals is that the alternative may be a national catastrophe. Further delay can affect our strength and our power as a nation.
Our decision about energy will test the character of the American people and the ability of the President and the Congress to govern. This difficult effort will be the "moral equivalent of war" —except that we will be uniting our efforts to build and not destroy.
I know that some of you may doubt that we face real energy shortages. The 1973 gasoline lines are gone, and our homes are warm again. But our energy problem is worse tonight than it was in 1973 or a few weeks ago in the dead of winter. It is worse because more waste has occurred, and more time has passed by without our planning for the future. And it will get worse every day until we act.
The oil and natural gas we rely on for 75 percent of our energy are running out. In spite of increased effort, domestic production has been dropping steadily at about six percent a year. Imports have doubled in the last five years. Our nation's independence of economic and political action is becoming increasingly constrained. Unless profound changes are made to lower oil consumption, we now believe that early in the 1980s the world will be demanding more oil that it can produce.
The world now uses about 60 million barrels of oil a day and demand increases each year about 5 percent. This means that just to stay even we need the production of a new Texas every year, an Alaskan North Slope every nine months, or a new Saudi Arabia every three years. Obviously, this cannot continue.
We must look back in history to understand our energy problem. Twice in the last several hundred years there has been a transition in the way people use energy.
The first was about 200 years ago, away from wood —which had provided about 90 percent of all fuel— to coal, which was more efficient. This change became the basis of the Industrial Revolution.
The second change took place in this century, with the growing use of oil and natural gas. They were more convenient and cheaper than coal, and the supply seemed to be almost without limit. They made possible the age of automobile and airplane travel. Nearly everyone who is alive today grew up during this age and we have never known anything different.
Because we are now running out of gas and oil, we must prepare quickly for a third change, to strict conservation and to the use of coal and permanent renewable energy sources, like solar power.
The world has not prepared for the future. During the 1950s, people used twice as much oil as during the 1940s. During the 1960s, we used twice as much as during the 1950s. And in each of those decades, more oil was consumed than in all of mankind's previous history.
World consumption of oil is still going up. If it were possible to keep it rising during the 1970s and 1980s by 5 percent a year as it has in the past, we could use up all the proven reserves of oil in the entire world by the end of the next decade.
I know that many of you have suspected that some supplies of oil and gas are being withheld. You may be right, but suspicions about oil companies cannot change the fact that we are running out of petroleum.
All of us have heard about the large oil fields on Alaska's North Slope. In a few years when the North Slope is producing fully, its total output will be just about equal to two years' increase in our nation's energy demand.
Each new inventory of world oil reserves has been more disturbing than the last. World oil production can probably keep going up for another six or eight years. But some time in the 1980s it can't go up much more. Demand will overtake production. We have no choice about that.
But we do have a choice about how we will spend the next few years. Each American uses the energy equivalent of 60 barrels of oil per person each year. Ours is the most wasteful nation on earth. We waste more energy than we import. With about the same standard of living, we use twice as much energy per person as do other countries like Germany, Japan and Sweden.
One choice is to continue doing what we have been doing before. We can drift along for a few more years.
Our consumption of oil would keep going up every year. Our cars would continue to be too large and inefficient. Three-quarters of them would continue to carry only one person —the driver— while our public transportation system continues to decline. We can delay insulating our houses, and they will continue to lose about 50 percent of their heat in waste.
We can continue using scarce oil and natural to generate electricity, and continue wasting two-thirds of their fuel value in the process.
If we do not act, then by 1985 we will be using 33 percent more energy than we do today.
We can't substantially increase our domestic production, so we would need to import twice as much oil as we do now. Supplies will be uncertain. The cost will keep going up. Six years ago, we paid $3.7 billion for imported oil. Last year we spent $37 billion —nearly ten times as much— and this year we may spend over $45 billion.
Unless we act, we will spend more than $550 billion for imported oil by 1985 —more than $2,500 a year for every man, woman, and child in America. Along with that money we will continue losing American jobs and becoming increasingly vulnerable to supply interruptions.
Now we have a choice. But if we wait, we will live in fear of embargoes. We could endanger our freedom as a sovereign nation to act in foreign affairs. Within ten years we would not be able to import enough oil —from any country, at any acceptable price.
If we wait, and do not act, then our factories will not be able to keep our people on the job with reduced supplies of fuel. Too few of our utilities will have switched to coal, our most abundant energy source.
Reduce gasoline consumption by ten percent below its current level.
Cut in half the portion of United States oil which is imported, from a potential level of 16 million barrels to six million barrels a day.
Establish a strategic petroleum reserve of one billion barrels, more than six months' supply.
Increase our coal production by about two thirds to more than 1 billion tons a year.
Insulate 90 percent of American homes and all new buildings.
Use solar energy in more than two and one-half million houses. more

Crowd jeers suicidal jumper to his death
UK - Jeering onlookers goaded a teenager in Britain to jump to his death, undermining police efforts to talk him down, and then took pictures of the body. Yesterday as 17-year-old Shaun Dykes prepared to jump from the top of a multi-storey carpark in Derby, northern England, spectators allegedly shouted to him: "How far can you bounce?", the UK's MailOnline reports. As Mr Dykes hesitated for three hours on the ledge while police unsuccessfully tried to reason him out of taking his life, teenagers who had gathered below shouted "Jump" and "Get on with it", according to police and witnesses.more
Important court victory
Obama for America
Just hours ago, the Ohio Supreme Court and a federal judge in Cleveland issued two similar decisions, and they were loud and clear -- the voters won.
In a cynical political ploy, the Ohio Republican Party filed suit to try to change a law that Republicans wrote and a Republican governor passed -- a bill that established Ohio's "One-Stop Early Voting" period, during which a new voter can register and vote at the same time from September 30 to October 6. One-Stop Early Voting occurred in Ohio without incident in 2006.
The Republicans were trying to keep new voices out of the political process. But their attempt at voter suppression was so brazen that the federal judge wrote in his decision, "Candidly, the underlying merits of issues are not even close," and that the Republican position "would lead to illogical results, potentially disenfranchising large numbers of voters."
Starting tomorrow you can vote early for Barack Obama and Joe Biden. And until next Monday you can register to vote.
To find your own early vote location, download a voter registration form, and be among the first to vote for change, visit our new web site, VoteForChange.com.
Again, One-Stop Early Voting, which lets people register and early vote all at once, starts tomorrow. We have just 7 days to register as many voters as possible.
This unprecedented voter registration and Early Vote effort will only be successful with you. We're counting on Obama supporters like you to make it possible.
All across Ohio we have early vote and voter registration events taking place this week. Join us at one of our 79 Ohio offices and get involved in this week's organizing:
http://my.barackobama.com/ohoffices
In 2004, George W. Bush won our state by only 118,601 votes, or about 9 votes per precinct.
This year, Ohio is once again a crucial state. Every single registration and every single early vote could make the difference.
We can't do it without you.
Thanks for all that you do,
